Parks and Recreational Activities

Old Crow also boasts a youth centre, heritage hall, ball diamond, skateboard park and play ground.

Activities in winter include snowmobiling, woodcutting, dog mushing, sport activities in the school gym, activities in the youth centre and cross-country skiing.

There is a ski lodge with many skis and boots available, and tracked ski trails in addition to the many snowmobile trails. People travel the frozen river to spend weekends at cabins along the river.

The community hosts large celebrations with games for all ages and large community suppers. Whenever there is a meeting at the community hall meals are usually served before the meeting starts.
